Year of Travel

Our year of travel began in December of 2011 when we packed up and left Oakton, Virginia. We were on a quest to find a new home. Since it was winter we decided to spend a couple of months in Florida. From there, we traveled west, circling back to the Midwest in June to be in Iowa for RAGBRAI. After that, we spent some time back on the East coast. We ended our travels in September of 2012 so it was really 9 months of travel. But we always refer to it as our year of travel.
